I loved the care that Dr. Taylor gave. She is genuine, caring, kind and seems to truly be concerned about her patients. Where I had a problem was with the front desk. From the beginning, the check in was cold, not friendly at all. That person was Bailey. I mentioned we probably need pre approval for the procedure and her body language was one of annoyance and bothered. Upon leaving the appointment that was unsuccessful in removing the cyst, I came back to Bailey and told her the doctor wanted me to have the cyst checked by a radiologist as soon as possible. I expressed also that my full deductible would renew January 1 so it was extremely important to make an appointment as soon as possible. She mentioned a few reasons why that probably wouldn’t be possible instead of “we will do our best Ms. Shannon to get you treated”. There was no kindness or concern unlike her boss Dr. Taylor. In these stressful moments, a kind word of concern is needed. This was on a Tuesday. By Thursday I still hadn’t heard if she was able to forward the doctors orders to radiology. In the meantime, I was extremely anxious about what could be in the cyst! When I called Thursday am, she said she was out sick Wednesday and couldn’t forward the orders and it probably wasn’t possible due to the holidays. I’m sorry, but a persons health should be first priority. She could have handed this to someone else while she was out “sick”. This was of utmost priority and I feel it wasn’t treated as such by the front office. For many of us, customer care and kindness is still important and she missed an opportunity to do so.
